Meet Our Founders

Seyhart is the passion-project of Colin and Tara McCannel, a husband-wife Western physician duo who are both retinal surgeons and ocular oncologists known internationally in their subspecialty of ophthalmology. Inspired by healing patients over their careers, the McCannels created Seyhart, the answer to a calling to offer more to people than they could with their skills alone. Their vision is that a whole-body approach to health is required for people to truly be healthy and live their best lives. Their own experiences taught them the beauty of balance – between science and nature, mind and body, healing and thriving. Eastern and Western medicine are not alternatives, but allies. The McCannels through Seyhart, are creating the bridge between Eastern and Western medicine.
